The Made in USA New Balance 990 v6 in a Workwear/Grey colorway begins with an upper base of tannish-orange mesh that offers lightweight breathability. Perforated dark-gray leather forms overlays that course across the upper, tannish-orange suede forms the overlays at the eyestays and mud guard, and silvery leather hits the upper at the collar. The gray and white ENCAP midsole is made with propulsive FuelCell foam that offers cushioning and energy return and a polyurethane rim that provides durability. This sneaker rides on a black and gray rubber outsole. Our favorite feature of this sneaker is the design of the side panel N, which features horizontally corrugated silvery-gray synthetic that is also used in the upper eyestays.
